Professional focus

Mirjana’s practice focuses on trademark and design opposition and cancellation matters. She also oversees search projects and advises about any factors that may represent an obstacle for successful registration and use of trademarks and designs. Mirjana started her professional career in the judiciary; after several years she moved to the Intellectual Property Office of Serbia where she worked for 10 years, occupying various positions. In 2010, Mirjana was appointed Head of the Trademarks Department in the Serbian IPO and remained on that position until joining MSA IP in November 2016. During her time at the IPO, she actively participated in many programs and activities organized by WIPO, WTO and EUIPO.

Mirjana is an active member of several professional organizations, including ECTA and INTA, where she served during two consecutive terms as a member of the Trademark Office Practices Committee.
